Ms. Rana Al Araer is the Operations Manager of the Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Department within the Clinical Imaging Division at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Qatar. She has more than 17 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, healthcare operations, and clinical leadership.
She holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) and a Master’s degree in International Business Management from the University of Aberdeen, United Kingdom, in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Diploma in Medical Radiography.
Throughout her career, Ms. Al Araer has played a key role in the development and operational management of advanced molecular imaging services, including PET/CT, Nuclear Medicine, and theranostic programs. Her areas of expertise include healthcare operations management, strategic planning, quality improvement, patient safety, service development, and multidisciplinary team leadership.
She is particularly passionate about workforce development and has been actively involved in building high-performing teams, enhancing technologist competencies, supporting professional development, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.
Ms. Al Araer continues to contribute to the advancement of molecular imaging services, innovation in precision medicine, and the delivery of patient-centered care, supporting Qatar’s vision to provide world-class healthcare services.
