H.E. Dr. Mohamad Bahjat Haidar is a Professor of Clinical Radiology and Nuclear Medicine specialist at the American University of Beirut (AUB), where he directs the Nuclear Medicine Division and Cyclotron Facility. Since 2024, he has served as Lebanon’s Minister of Labour while maintaining senior academic and healthcare leadership roles. With over 20 years of experience in nuclear medicine, PET/CT imaging, and oncology, he has led major regional and international professional organizations, including the Arab Society of Nuclear Medicine. An international expert for the IAEA, he is widely recognized for his contributions to medical education, research, healthcare policy, and nuclear medicine advancement across the Middle East.
