Dr. Shadia Taher Hammad Abu-Baker is a senior Nuclear Medicine Specialist and Head of the Nuclear Medicine Department and Specialty Program at Al-Bashir Hospital, Jordan’s Ministry of Health. She holds a Nuclear Medicine Fellowship from University College London Hospitals and the Jordanian Board in Nuclear Medicine. With more than two decades of clinical experience, she has played a key role in patient care, residency training, and departmental leadership. She also serves as Jordan’s counterpart for multiple IAEA regional projects and has contributed to scientific publications and professional organizations in nuclear medicine and molecular imaging.
