Prof. Murat Fani Bozkurt, MD is a Professor and Head of Nuclear Medicine at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, specializing in nuclear oncology, theranostics, PET imaging, and nuclear cardiology. He is the immediate-past President of the Turkish Society of Nuclear Medicine and Editor-in-Chief of Molecular Imaging and Radionuclide Therapy, the society’s official international journal. Trained at Hacettepe University, with fellowships at the University of Pennsylvania PET Center and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard University, he is European Board–certified in Nuclear Medicine and has held multiple leadership roles within EANM/ESMIT. His major interests include NET and prostate theranostics, Y-90 microsphere therapy for liver tumors, nuclear cardiology, and intraoperative gamma-probe applications.
